Battery to Offer Series of Summer Youth Soccer Programs

Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery will offer a series of youth soccer programs this summer presented by Lloyds Soccer Sports. In addition to four weeks of half-day camp at Governors Park, Daniel Island the Battery will host three weeks of full-day camp at the Blackbaud Stadium soccer complex. The Battery will also be offering a weekly Junior Academy program for elite players and a weekly Tiny Tots program for younger children age 3 - 6.

Under the overall direction of Charleston Battery head coach Mike Anhaeuser; summer Camp and Academy coaches include current and former Charleston Battery players; all camps have a staff to camper ratio of 1:12.

Charleston Battery Camp at Governor's Park

The Charleston Battery Day Camp is offered as a week-long camp for boys and girls ages 5-12. The Camp is designed to develop the fundamental techniques of soccer in a fun, learning environment. Camp runs from 9 AM -12 PM daily and is held at Governor's Park, Daniel Island. A full-time certified Athletic Trainer will be on site throughout the camp and Friday's session will include a meet and greet with the Charleston Battery players.

Battery Day Half-Day Camp

Dates: June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28, July 15-19, July 22-26

$260 full day (9 AM -4 PM)

$160 half day (9 AM -12 PM)

Includes: Camp jersey and Charleston Battery game ticket.

Charleston Battery Camp at Blackbaud Stadium

The Charleston Battery Full-Day Camp is offered as a week-long camp for boys and girls ages 5-12. The Camp is designed to develop the fundamental techniques of soccer in a fun, learning environment. Camp runs from 9 AM - 4 PM daily and is held at the Charleston Battery soccer complex. Dates: June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18

$260 full day (9 AM -4 PM)

$160 half day (9 AM -12 PM)

Includes: Camp jersey, lunch (full day only) and Charleston Battery game ticket.

Charleston Battery Junior Academy

The Charleston Battery Junior Academy is aimed toward advanced dedicated soccer player's ages 7-14 looking for an extended summer program. Academy Staff will be comprised entirely of current Charleston Battery players & Coaches. All Charleston Battery Academy sessions are held at Blackbaud Stadium, Daniel Island.

Summer Session: June 9 -August 11 (Monday's 6-8 PM)

Cost: $250

Includes: Charleston Battery training uniform (jersey & shorts) and Charleston Battery game ticket.

Tiny Tots

The Charleston Battery Tiny Tots program is a fun and convenient way to bring soccer into your child's life. The program, developed by the Charleston Battery professional soccer team, is designed to develop coordination, self confidence, motor skills and elementary soccer techniques in a fun learning environment. Tiny Tots is for children ages 3-6 and held at Blackbaud Stadium, Daniel Island.

Summer: June 11 -July 30 (Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 PM)
