Austin Ice Bats News Release
Members of the Austin Ice Bats professional hockey team will team up with the National Hockey League Dallas Stars at an autograph signing to take place this Thursday, August 28th in Austin. The event will be held from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on Thursday evening at Cool River Café, 4001 W. Parmer Lane.
Ice Bats Coach Jeff Greenlaw and players Tab Lardner and Peter Brady will appear, while current Stars players Stu Barnes, Philippe Boucher and Don Sweeney are also scheduled to sign autographs and pose for pictures. Rounding out the Stars contingent are former player and team Alumni Director Craig Ludwig and play-by-play broadcaster Ralph Strangis.

The Ice Bats begin their eighth season of play on Saturday, October 18th, against the New Mexico Scorpions at the Travis County Expo Center. Two-time defending Southeast Division and Southern Conference champions, the Ice Bats also won the Governors' Cup with the League's top regular season record last year.
Season tickets for the upcoming season are on sale now at the Ice Bats office, in full-, half-season, or 10-game plans. Free Belfry Club membership is still included for all new full season packages, as well as free parking for all full-season and half-season plans.
