Batherson Recalled by Ottawa

The Ottawa Senators have recalled forward Drake Batherson from the Belleville Senators.

The 20-year-old has played in 14 games with Belleville this season and has tallied 20 points (seven goals), which leads the AHL this season.

On Friday night, Batherson registered six points, a Belleville franchise record.

Batherson, a native of New Minas, NS., who's playing in his first professional season, receives his first call-up to the NHL.

A fourth round pick in 2017, Batherson was today named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week.

Ottawa is back in action Thursday against Detroit.
