
Barracudas wrap up road trip

HIDALGO, Texas ---- The Rio Grande Valley Barracudas will wrap their three game road trip against the Monterrey Flash when they meet for the final time this season. Monterrey has won all three matches against RGV and will be looking to sweep the season series.
The last time Monterrey and RGV faced each other was on December 28th and 29th, when the Flash had back-to-back games and won 8-4 and 10-3 at State Farm Arena.
Fernando Moreno and Moises Gonzalez lead the Barracudas with 50 combined points; while Antonio Manfut and Ismael Pineda are closing in on 20 point mark for the season. The Barracudas are tied on top of the league with 3 short-handed goals.
Monterrey has featured a balanced attack all season long with at least five players surpassing the 20 point total while having a 16 game winning streak.
