November 5, 2005 - SPHL (SPHL)
Jacksonville Barracudas News Release
In preparation for their game Saturday night, the Jacksonville Barracudas have made a number of changes to their roster.
The Barracudas have waived forward Justin Siebold, whose 5-game tryout with the club has run out, and defenseman Tyler Valin. Valin had no points, 19 penalty minutes, and was a -3 in his five games with the club this season. Siebold scored two goals and was a -2 in 5 games with the Barracudas.
The Barracudas will also be without goaltender Jan Chovan, who suffered a concussion in a game against the Fayetteville FireAntz, and forward Justin Kot, who has been placed on the suspended list due to personal reasons.
Added to the roster for Saturday's game is forward Justin Wise, and goaltender Ben Gray. Wise was recently released from the Florida Seals, where he scored a goal and two assists in five games. Gray was a late cut from the Barracudas training camp, and will back up starter Pat Berrigan.
The 3-3 Barracudas will look to bounce back from their defeat Friday night at the hands of the Fayetteville FireAntz, as they face the Pee Dee Cyclones. Face off is at 7:05pm at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.
