Twin City Cyclones News Release
The Cyclones managed to stay close to the Jacksonville Barracudas during their contest on Sunday afternoon. However, the Cyclones spent more time in the box than in the game, incurring 66 penalty minutes.
Coach Chris Crombie had enough of the referees' penalty calling and by the third period received a game misconduct, which caused him to be tossed from the game at the 6:24 mark. Cyclones' General Manager and former Head Coach Mark Richards took over the duties behind the bench. At the end of regulation, the teams were tied at three, forcing overtime.
At 1:49 into OT, Jacksonville's Greg LeColst got one past goalie Brad Buss, handing the Barracudas a 4-3 win.
Cyclones with goals: Rollins, Mnatsakanov, Slusher.
The Cyclones be at home on Thursday, to host the Richmond Renegades. Game time is set for 7:10PM at the Florence Civic Center. It's "Thirsty Thursday" so fans can enjoy great beverage specials. For more information, contact the Cyclones' Front Office at 843-432-1234.
