Barons Season Tickets Now on Sale

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Barons announced Wednesday that season ticket packages for 2009 are now on sale. The regular season will begin on Thursday, April 9, at home against Chattanooga.

Regular box seat tickets are $355, field box tickets are $365, and corporate box tickets are $420. All packages include a ticket for all the Southern League All-Star Week events (All-Star Game presented by State Farm Insurance and Home Run Derby/Celebrity Softball Game presented by Virginia College) and the option to purchase a full-season parking pass and Family Fun Park pass for discounted prices.

Season ticket holders also receive discounts on Barons merchandise, a VIP ticket to the Rickwood Classic, complimentary tickets to any home playoff games, and invitations to several in-season special events specifically for season ticket holders like picnics and batting practice. Plus, any unused game ticket can be redeemed for a general admission ticket to any 2009 regular season game. In addition, season ticket holders will also receive free admission to most Barons road games this year.

Mini-season and Perfect 10 ticket plans are also now available for purchase. Six-game mini-plans are as low as $40, 12-game packages start at $80, and the 24-game package begins at $160. The Perfect 10 package of ten good-any-game general admission seats is just $60. For just an additional $20, a ticket to both the All- Star Game and Home Run Derby/Celebrity Softball Game can be added to any of these packages.

Ticket packages are on sale for the All-Star Week events as well. The packages include a ticket for both the All-Star Game (Monday, July 13 at Regions Park) and Home Run Derby/Celebrity Softball Game (Sunday, July 12), the latter of which will be held at Rickwood Field. Packages range from $15 (general admission) to $25 (corporate box tickets). Children's tickets are $5 off the regular price.

The Southern League All-Star Luncheon will be held at the Wynfrey Hotel on Monday, July 13, and tickets will be sold to the public for $32. Tickets to the All-Star Post-Game Party will be on sale for $20.
