
Barons Hosting Ice Girls Tryouts this Weekend at Devon Boathouse

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons are holding their Ice Girls tryouts August 18 at the Devon Boathouse from 4 - 9 p.m., the team's front office announced today.
The Barons Ice Girls are an interactive group that represents the Barons at hockey games during the season, but also at community events and external appearances. Whether entertaining fans at game or visiting with a group at a community appearance, the primary goal of the Barons Ice Girls is to ensure fans are engaged at every event they appear. Skating experience is not necessary to be a part of the Barons Ice Girls.
Tryouts are at the Devon Boathouse at 725 S. Lincoln Boulevard in the Boathouse District. The tryouts begin at 4 p.m. and will consist of a brief on-camera introduction, an individual interview followed by a group question and answer session. Potential topics of discussion during the interviews could include information about the Barons hockey team, general knowledge about sports and character-related questions.
Cost to tryout is FREE. Attire for the interview should be business casual. For more information, visit the Barons website at okcbarons.com.
The Barons home opener is October 19 at the Cox Convention Center. A variety of ticket packages are available to meet every individual or group need.
