Cleveland jumped out to a 1-0 after one, on goal by Jason Weeks. In the second period, the Barons exploded for three goals on Phantoms goaloie John Murray to grab a 4-0 lead after two. Scoring in the period were Neal Sheehan, Adam Fincik and Brian Bicek. In the third period, the Phantoms jumped on the board with two quick goals by Kevin Huck and Anthony Canzoneri to get the score to 4-2, but Neal Sheehan scored to close out the scoring.
Also picking up assists tonight for the Barons were Mike Ruberto and Adam Fincik with 2 helpers. Brian Bicek, Trevor Mallon,Neal Sheehan, John Goebel, Jason Weeks and Mike Wolff with one assist in the game.
Goaltender Ian Keserich had 36 saves in the match to earn his 11th victory of the season.
The Barons have return match tomarrow night in Youngstown. Game time is 7:05 PM.
