Oklahoma City Barons News Release
Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons Clear Day Roster for the remainder of the 2011-12 season and 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs was approved by the American Hockey League, Barons General Manager Bill Scott announced today.
The Clear Day Roster is a 22-man list of players who are eligible to play in the remainder of the regular season games and any Calder Cup Playoff games. Only the players on the Clear Day Roster may participate in the Barons remaining 18 regular season games, barring emergency conditions arising due to injury, recall or suspension. Teams may add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.
The Barons Clear Day Roster includes: goaltenders Yann Danis and David LeNeveu; defensemen Taylor Chorney, Bryan Helmer, Alex Plante, Dan Ringwald, Bryan Rodney, Colten Teubert, and Dylan Yeo; forwards Mark Arcobello, Philippe Cornet, Triston Grant, Josh Green, Teemu Hartikainen, Ryan Keller, Anton Lander, Linus Omark, Magnus Paajarvi, Tyler Pitlick, Hunter Tremblay, Antti Tyrvainen and Chris Vandevelde.
Goaltender Olivier Roy, defensemen Kevin Montgomery and Kirill Tulupov and forwards Curtis Hamilton, Tanner House, Andrew Lord and Ryan Martindale are still available to practice with the team, but can only play in games when injury, recall or suspension puts the Barons at 17 skaters or fewer.
Oklahoma City finishes its season-long six-game road trip Wednesday against the Peoria Rivermen, AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues. Faceoff is 7 p.m. The Barons will skate in two home games Friday and Saturday against the Lake Erie Monsters, AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche. Faceoff is 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
