Bristol White Sox News Release

The Bristol White Sox are glad to announce their First Annual Bark in the Park Night, scheduled for Sunday, July 28, during their game with the Kingsport Mets at Boyce Cox Field in Bristol.

Fans may purchase, in advance of game day only, a special ticket which will entitle them to enter the game with one dog.

These special tickets will be priced at the same low rate as standard general admission tickets to Sox games - only $4.00. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and fans purchasing these special tickets must provide proof of their dog's vaccinations and sign a waiver and indemnity agreement at the time of purchase.

"We think this is an exciting new event we can offer to our fans (and their best friends)," said Mahlon Luttrell, General Manager of the Bristol White Sox.

Attending dogs will receive treats, and waste disposal bags will be provided.

A limited number of special Bark in the Park tickets are available. They will go on sale Saturday, June 1, at Woofstock 2013, at Sugar Hollow Park from 9:00 AM until 2:30 PM. Any tickets which remain unsold after Woofstock will be available by emailing the Sox at bark@bristolbaseball.com.
