HOLY TOLEDO! - Join MLB Hall of Fame broadcaster Milo Hamilton and international softball star Cat Osterman at the Ninth South Texas Winter Baseball Banquet next Wednesday, January 23. Site is the Omni Bayfront Hotel and doors open at 6:30. Sponsors are the Corpus Christi Caller-Times and ClearChannel Radio.
Hamilton receives the Lifetime Achievement Award and Osterman is featured guest. Other honorees include New York Mets prospect and Calallen HS alum Logan Verrett, Astros prospect and former Texas A&M-Corpus Christi pitcher Daniel Minor, Carroll HS coach Lee Yeager and John Paul II skipper Steve Castillo. 2012 Hooks Jason Stoffel and Jose Martinez will also be recognized, plus the 2013 preseason high school baseball and softball all-stars.
