
Bandits Split Series with Wichita Falls, Remain in First

ST. LOUIS MISSOURI, February 25th, 2007 - The St. Louis Bandits and Wichita Falls Wildcats split the weekend series at the Summit Center in Chesterfield.
Wichita Falls took the first game of the series with a 6-4 victory on Saturday night. St. Louis came back strong Sunday night with a hard fought 2-1 victory behind a strong effort from Bandits' goalie Shane Malodora. The Wildcats started the scoring in the first period on a goal by Luke Salazar and carried the lead into the second period. Kyle O'Kane scored the equalizer midway through the second as the Bandits tied the game at one. Scooter Vaughn scored the game winning goal on the power play midway through the third as the Bandits came out victorious 2-1.
The Bandits next home games are on March 9th and 10th vs. Santa Fe, who is currently seven points behind St. Louis in the South Division. For group or single game tickets contact the Bandits front office at 636-536-4882.
