DAVENPORT, Iowa - The River Bandits scored six unanswered runs in the seventh and eighth innings to erase a 5-3 deficit and beat the Fort Wayne TinCaps 9-5 on Tuesday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Jake Rogers drove in three runs and finished a triple shy of the cycle. Ryan Hartman picked up the win in relief.

Jack Suwinski hit the first pitch of the game out of the ballpark for Fort Wayne (9-16) as part of a two-run first inning. Quad Cities (13-10) countered Suwinski's long ball with back-to-back jacks from Rogers and Rodrigo Ayarza in the second inning to tie the game, 2-2. Quad Cities followed with a bases loaded walk to Randy Cesar and a two-run single from Rogers to regain the lead, 6-5. After an RBI single from Stephen Wrenn, Fort Wayne shortstop Fernando Tatis extended the bottom of the eighth by committing an error on an Alex De Goti ground ball. Cesar followed with an RBI double to cap the 9-5 win for Quad Cities.
