
Bandits Ring in the New Year with Bling

Elgin, Ill. - The Chicago Bandits are celebrating their 2008 Championship in style with a formal dinner and Championship Ring Ceremony Friday, January 16 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Heritage Ballroom in The Centre of Elgin.
The Bandits had a Cinderella season culminating in a Regular Season Championship as well as the 2008 National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) Championship. Many players received awards ranging from NPF Player of the Year to Championship Series Most Valuable Player. The coaches got in on the action too, receiving NPF Coaching Staff of the Year.
Fans are invited to participate and share in the celebration. The night will kick off with a cocktail and social hour with a cash bar. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. with the ring ceremony directly following at 8 p.m. The evening will conclude with a question and answer session along with an opportunity for autographs and pictures with your favorite Bandit. The cost to attend the dinner is $50 per person. Opportunities to sponsor a table are also available.
