
Bandits Hire Ron Henry as Assistant Coach

BUFFALO, N.Y. (September 25, 2006) -- Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Dave Zygaj announced today that Ron Henry has been hired as the team's new assistant coach.
Henry has been an assistant coach with the Six Nations Chiefs of the OLA, and was most recently co-head coach of the Iroquois National Men's Elite team. In 2003, he won a silver medal as assistant coach of the Iroquois National team at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships.
He has coached at the Can-Am Senior B level since 1993, winning two President's Cup gold medals.
Henry joins head coach Darris Kilgour and assistant Troy Cordingley on the Bandits coaching staff.
The Bandits will open the 2007 regular season at Portland on December 30.
