Bandits Draft Four Players at 2015 NLL Draft

TORONTO (Sept. 28, 2015) --- The Buffalo Bandits selected four players at the NLL draft in Toronto, highlighted by second-round pick (11th overall), Anthony Malcolm from Mars Hill University.

The Bandits selected Malcolm with their first pick of the night after not having a first-round pick. Anthony scored 65 points (35+30) in 16 games for the Lions last season.

Buffalo took Mike Triolo at No. 27 overall with their second pick of the night in the third round. In 15 games for Pfeiffer University, Triolo had 46 points (23+23). Mike is a native of Brooklyn, Ontario.

With the 36th overall pick, the Bandits selected Tim Edwards, from Canisius College in Buffalo. In 57 career games over the span of 4 seasons for the Golden Griffins, Edwards tallied 145 points (64+80). He is a native of Jamesville, New York.

Buffalo capped off the night by acquiring the 55th overall pick from the Saskatchewan Rush in exchange for a 2018 sixth-round pick. With the selection, the Bandits took Matthew Clearwater- Francisco of the Mimico Mountaineers. In 82 career games at the Junior A level, Clearwater- Francisco tallied 42 points (15+27).
