Bandits Announce Upcoming Winter Clinics

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced that the team will offer an adaptive lacrosse clinic and a winter recess clinic this upcoming winter.

The Bandits will kick off their winter clinics with an adaptive lacrosse clinic for children and adults with intellectual disabilities on Saturday, Dec. 1 at KeyBank Center. Registration for the clinic costs $20 and will include one hour of on-floor instruction by current Bandits players, a Buffalo Bandits T-shirt and a ticket voucher for a 2018-19 Bandits regular-season home game. Interested parties can register by visiting Bandits.com/AdaptiveLacrosseClinic.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own helmet and stick, but a limited number will be available to borrow for those who do not have their own equipment. All players will be divided into age groups, with a maximum of 30 participants per session.

The session times for the adaptive lacrosse clinic are as follows:

- Ages 8-12: 12-1 p.m.

- Ages 13-17: 1-2 p.m.

- Ages 18+: 2-3 p.m.

The adaptive lacrosse clinic will be followed by a winter recess clinic on Friday, December 28 at KeyBank Center. The clinic will be open to children ages five to 13. Registration is $35 per child, but a discounted price of $30 is per child is available to families with multiple children registering. Jr. Bandits and participants of the Josh Byrne Clinic or Winter League can register for $25. Participants can register at Bandits.com/WinterRecessClinic.

Registration will guarantee each child one hour of on-floor instruction from current Bandits players, an autographed player photo and a ticket voucher for a 2018-19 Bandits regular-season home game. Each child will also be entered into a raffle with the opportunity to win one of five lacrosse-related prizes. Participants are expected to provide their own equipment.

The session times for the winter recess clinic are as follows:

- Ages 5-7: 12-1 p.m.

- Ages 8-10: 1-2 p.m.

- Ages 11-13: 2-3 p.m.
