
Baltimore Mariners to Celebrate Fan Appreciation Day

Baltimore, Maryland (June 8, 2009) - The Baltimore Mariners are set to celebrate "Fan Appreciation Day" this Sunday, June 14th at 4:00 PM at 1st Mariner Arena. The Mariners have special ticket pricing, a giveaway, and special events to thank are die hard fans!
To show their appreciation, the Mariners are offering a 2 for 1 ticket special; and at a reduced price. Fans can purchase a 200 level ticket for only $8 (Regular Price: $19), but wait there's more (always wanted to say that), with each $8 ticket purchased you get a ticket free! That's a savings of $30! In addition to the ticket special, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Mariners Souvenir Cup.
You have witnessed the thundering player introductions from your seats, now lucky fans will be selected to be introduced with the Mariners players and charge through the lines of waiting cheerleaders unto the field. Also, lucky fans will be selected as Honorary Captains and take part in the pre-game coin toss.
And don't forget the playoff bound Baltimore Mariners football team. With three games left on the 2009 regular season schedule, the Mariners have clinched a playoff berth and are still battling for the North Division title. Averaging 47 points a game on the offensive side and a defense that leads the league in takeaways, this match-up with I-83 rivals, the Harrisburg Stampede, promises to be full of high scoring, hard hitting, in your face action.
