Mariners Front Office Resigns; Working with League for Football in 2011

September 3, 2010 - American Indoor Football Association (AIFA)
Baltimore Mariners News Release

BALTIMORE, MD (September 3, 2010) - With the recent development of ownership investigations and issues surrounding the BRIG Group ownership, team General Manager Greg Justice stated the following:

While this situation is surprising and upsetting to myself, all the players, coaches, staff, and fans of the Mariners, I am saddened to say the entire front office staff of the Mariners will no longer be working for the Mariners effective at the time of this release. I have spoken to AIFA officials and they have indicated there will be AIFA indoor football in Baltimore next season at 1st Mariner Arena. Details of ownership and actual team identity have not been worked out due to the sudden news upon us today. My hopes are to keep intact the great chemistry built over the past few years in the front office, staff, players, and coaches. While this issue certainly is upsetting, in no way can this take away from a tremendous effort on and off the field by the Mariners players, coaches, front office, and staff.
