BALTIMORE, MD (June 17, 2009) - The Baltimore Mariners, their Official Fan Club, the Mariner Maniacs, and the Lady Mariners Dance Team are sponsoring a charity car wash at Cars4Sale located at 2619 North Point Blvd., Dundalk, MD 21222. The car wash, which will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 20th will feature car washes by the Lady Mariners, photo opportunities with the dancers, refreshments, and ticket giveaways. Proceeds will benefit the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Maryland. For more information on this event, please call 410-284-0600. Rain date is June 27th, same time and location.
Also, the first 50 people that make a donation will receive two tickets to the playoff-bound Mariners regular season finale on June 27th at 7:00 PM at 1st Mariner Arena. The Mariners will be celebrating "Recession Buster Night," with all 200 level tickets only $10, along with other contests and giveaways.
