Blue-White Scrimmage, Media Day Set for February 28th at University of Maryland
BALTIMORE, MD (February 23, 2010) - The Baltimore Mariners of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) will provide fans their first opportunity to see the 2010 Mariners and media the chance to film, interview, and photograph Mariners' players and staff when they hold their Blue-White Scrimmage and Media Day on Sunday, February 28th from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the University of Maryland.
The session will be held at the University of Maryland Indoor Practice Bubble. The Bubble is located on the campus of the University of Maryland adjacent to the University of Maryland Golf Club on University Boulevard. Entrance to parking is at the corner of University Boulevard and Stadium Drive. An interactive campus map may be found here: http://www.parking.umd.edu/themap/.
The session is open to the public and media. The following schedule will be followed:
9:00 - 9:45 AM - Players participating in stretching and agility drills
9:45 - 11:00 AM - Blue and White Scrimmage (controlled scrimmage)
11:00 - 11:30 AM - Players, coaches, and staff available on field for media interviews
Stretching, agility drills, and scrimmage are also available for media filming and photo opportunities.
The Mariners open their 2010 season at the Harrisburg Stampede on March 6th at 7:30 PM at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The Mariners home season opener will be March 14th at 4:00 PM at 1st Mariner Arena versus the New Jersey Revolution.
Tickets to all seven Mariners home games are available through the 1st Mariner Arena Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, and www.tickemaster.com.
