Reading Express News Release

Reading Express GM/Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski announced today that he has re-signed former Kutztown University stand-out and grad Michael"Wink" Baldwin.

Baldwin's High School career was played at Dobbins Vocational/Tech in Philadelphia. At Kutztown, Michael was a four year starter and a three year co-captain. Michael has taken his HS and College careers and continued with that same dedication and determination with The Express. Last season. he ended up with four interceptions returning one for 49 yards and a game clinching TD. Mid-season we moved Michael to Jack to cover for the loss of a player due to a work conflict and an injury to another player. The move created two sacks and a third for safety. His performance at a new position was outstanding.

"Baldwin is a 6' 200lb Defensive Back/ Jack LB that also played on almost every one of our special teams. He is a great team player and is extremely coachable and gets along with all his team mates" commented Nowotarski.
