Bakersfield Blitz News Release
Bakersfield - The Bakersfield Blitz General Manager Jim Lambright will be taking a position with the AFL's Las Vegas Gladiators, the Blitz sadly announced today.
"We were lucky to have such a great manager with his years of experience," Vice-President, Paul Press said. "We only wish the best for Jim as he advances to the AFL."
Lambright will continue work with the Blitz for the remainder of the week. "I really enjoyed my time here and I wish I could've stayed longer to see through some of the plans we started," Lambright said. "However, Las Vegas is a good opportunity at the next level up with a team that I'm familiar with."
The Blitz recently signed a new general manager. A formal introduction is expected to take place by the end of the month.
Season tickets for the 2007 Blitz season are on sale now with season seats as low as $45. For more information, please call 377-BLITZ (2548) or visit www.bakersfieldblitz.com.
