
Bakersfield Blitz Bounce Back to School Shoe Drive

Bakersfield - The Bakersfield Blitz are collecting new children-age school shoes for their first annual Blitz Bounce Back to School Shoe Drive. Blitz team members will join Jesus Shack Street Teams on September 23 at 10:30 a.m. to hand out new school shoes to children from hurting and needy families in the Bakersfield community.
The Blitz have been collecting children's school shoes of all sizes since September 1 and will continue until September 23. Cash donations will be used in the purchase of new shoes. Tax deductible checks can be made payable to: Jesus Shack. All donations can be dropped off at the Blitz front office, 515 Truxtun Ave.
The Finish Line has partnered with the Blitz in donating 72 pairs of children's athletic shoes to the drive.
