Back to Paducah for Another Preseason Game

MARION, IL. - The Southern Illinois Miners will return to Paducah, KY on Saturday, May 11th for their annual pre-season game versus the Evansville Otters. Game time is 7:00 pm. The gates open at 5:00 pm.
The pre-season game is sponsored by the Orthopaedic Institute of Western Kentucky and WPSD Local 6. Tickets for the game are $5.00 with the proceeds benefiting Brooks Stadium. People may purchase their tickets in advance at G & O Drugs or at Brooks Stadium on the day of the game.
The Miners will present the same show that is run at Rent One Park.
The show will include all of the music, mascots, souvenirs, Diamond Girls and between inning promotions that fans look forward to seeing every summer.
Opening Day is Friday, May 17 against the Windy City Thunderbolts.

The Southern Illinois Miners are the 2012 Frontier League Champions and have been awarded the Frontier League Organization of the Year three times since its inception. It has also set a new Frontier League attendance record in 2007.
