LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced today it has reached a multi-year agreement to make B2 Networks the exclusive broadband broadcaster of the league. Every UHL game will be broadcast live by B2 Networks during the 2005-06 season.
The partnership between the UHL and B2 Networks began during the 2004-05 season and exceeded all expectations. In addition to broadcasting the majority of the regular season games, the year was highlighted by the broadcast of the 2005 Pepsi UHL All-Star Classic from Adirondack, NY and the free webcast of the March 2nd game between Fort Wayne and Danbury. This webcast celebrated the 500th game seen on the B2 Networks. The entire Colonial Cup Championship series was also broadcast by the network.
"The partnership with B2 Networks has been very positive for the UHL and for the fans of the league," stated Richard Brosal, UHL President/CEO. "We are very proud that we were the first league to become an exclusive partner of B2 Networks and happy to see that other leagues have followed suit. B2 Networks will again reach a worldwide audience this season and will also be great resource for the teams and the league office. It is another step in the right direction as our league continues to progress."
As a part of the expanded relationship, B2 Networks will also provide the UHL with a "Game Share" program. Coaches and league personnel will be able to download any UHL game within thirty minutes of completion. This will provide coaches valuable scouting information and assist league personnel in disciplinary decisions.
"B2 Networks is very excited to take our partnership with the UHL to the next level," said Greg P. Bell, B2 Networks Owner and CEO. "The UHL was the first league to join us as a broadcast partner. We value our relationship with Richard Brosal and the UHL teams that helped make last year such a success."
B2 Networks (b2now.com) is a premier provider of reliable and secure international television and video broadcasting systems, pay-per-view and billing systems.
