Binghamton Senators News Release

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators game against Bridgeport on Friday night will be the first of twelve home games televised live on My8 during the 2006-07 season.

The television broadcasts will begin five minutes prior to faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the Senators, handling the play-by-play duties. My8 is broadcast on channel eight in the Southern Tier and also occupies channel eight on Time Warner Cable in Greater Binghamton.

"With the addition of B-Sens Weekly, and the expansion to twelve televised games this season, our partnership with Fox-40 and My8 has increased our visibility in the region," said Terry Buczkowski, the Senators vice president of marketing.

The twelve televised games are two more than last season, as ten games were broadcast on UPN-8 in 2005-06.

"We are very excited about our expanded coverage of the Binghamton Senators this season. By adding two televised games, and with the new Senators Weekly program, we have increased our partnership with the Senators to a new level," said John Leet, the general manager of both Fox-40 and My-8.

B-Sens Weekly is televised every Thursday night at 10:30 on My8. It is also replayed every Saturday at 6:30 on Fox-40, and 10:30 on My8.
