
B-Mets to Host Free Field Maintenance Seminar

Binghamton Rumble Ponies News Release
The Binghamton Mets and Klawog-Klacon are teaming up to host the 1st annual Turf Day at 9am on April 11th at NYSEG Stadium. This FREE event is designed to give high school and little league coaches, volunteers, and field caretakers an inside look at maintenance practices and techniques utilized by the Binghamton Mets Grounds Crew.
Steve Wiseman, Sports Turf Manager for the Binghamton Mets will be on hand along with other members of the grounds crew to demonstrate proper field management techniques. Vendors from Klawog-Klacon, Andre & Son, John Deere Landscapes, Toro, Greener World, and Lindsey Lawn & Garden will display products, discuss services and be available to answer questions.

Tickets are still available for the B-Mets Welcome Back Dinner on April 6th at the Binghamton Regency. Doors open at 5:30pm for an autograph reception with dinner being served at 7pm.
