Brooklyn Aviators News Release

The N.Y. Aviators, New York City's only minor-league hockey team, and an affiliate of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadians through their affiliation with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, are currently riding an 18-game winning streak. They put the streak on the line with a pair of home games this weekend against Cape Cod and the first place Akwesasne Warriors at the Aviator Sports & Event Center at the all new Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. With the 2nd place Aviators just 2-points behind Akwesasne, Saturday's game might be a battle for first place.
