The Los Angeles Avengers are set to kick off their ninth Arena Football League season February 29 at Staples Center. The Avengers are coming off a 9-7 season in which they advanced to the second round of the playoffs. With quarterback Sonny Cumbie, receiver Kevin Ingram and several other star players returning it promises to be another exciting year for LA. The Avengers have advanced to the playoffs in five of their last six seasons, all under the guidance of Coach Ed Hodgkiss.
