Los Angeles Avengers News Release

LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players, coaches and "A-Team" dancers regularly visit schools, hospitals and community events.

"A-Team" dancers Brittany, Jessica, Lynisha and Tiffany spent Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 2 and 3) at the Los Angeles Zoo's Merry Members Nights. Members enjoyed a holiday festival atmosphere that included reindeer, a holiday light show, a chance to take a picture with Santa, music, food carts and a chance to test their football skills at the Avengers' football toss.

"The Los Angeles Zoo already has so many interesting and fun things to do for families," Tiffany said. "At the Merry Members Nights, those same families get another chance to enjoy a place they already love with a holiday atmosphere."

On Saturday, Jessica and Tiffany signed autographs and posed for pictures while fellow "A-Team" dancers Brittany and Lynisha did the same on Sunday.

The Los Angeles Zoo has over 1.4 million visitors pass through its gates each year to view a collection of more than 1,200 animals from around the world.

The Avengers will kick off their eighth season in the 21-year-old Arena Football League at STAPLES Center on Sunday, March 4, versus the San Jose SaberCats.

Nine-game season ticket packages are on sale now. Please call 1-888-AVENGERS for more information or visit the team's official Website at www.laavengers.com.
