AUSTIN, TX, November 14, 2005 - Celebrating Austin Habitat for Humanity's 20th year in Austin, the Austin Wranglers and KVUE-TV are

building the last and final home this year in Austin - appropriately called the "Home for the Holidays."

To kick off their third season and to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Arena Football League, the Austin Wranglers are building the Habitat home as one of the team's many community service projects.

KVUE-TV's team of reporters, anchors and staff will also help build the home as well as document its progress and promote the home as part of their holiday celebrations and commitment to the local community.

"The Austin Wranglers want to be the professional sports team that the Central Texas community is proud of - both on and off the field," says Doug MacGregor, Team President. "We have signed 13 free agents - many of whom are veteran arena football players - to strengthen and improve the team so we can win the Championship. To be a winner in the community, our players also want to participate in important service projects like building this Habitat home."

Patti C. Smith, President and General Manager of KVUE-TV adds, "Commitment to the community is the cornerstone of KVUE Television and its staff. We are proud to have the opportunity to work with both Habitat for Humanity and the Austin Wranglers on this most worthy project. Join us in building a home and a future for this deserving family, so that they feel surrounded by the spirit of giving over the holidays, and for all the days ahead."
