Austin Toros to Host Open Scrimmage

Austin, TX. November 8, 2011- The Austin Toros will host an intra-squad scrimmage on Tuesday, November 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cedar Park Recreation Center, 1435 Main Street. The event is free and open to the public.
"The scrimmage is a great way for fans to get an up-close view of our potential opening night roster during training camp," said Peter Lubell, Toros Chief Operating Officer. "Fans should arrive early for a good seat and a chance to win season tickets."
Toros fans can watch the scrimmage, meet players and coaches, and register for a chance to win free season tickets by making a half court shot. One lucky fan will have their name drawn prior to the start of the scrimmage.
The Austin Toros home opener is Friday, Dec. 2nd at 8:00 p.m. against the Tulsa 66ers at Cedar Park Center. Season, group and single game tickets are now available. For more information please visit austintoros.com or call (512) 236-8333.
