(CEDAR PARK, TEXAS - MAR. 1, 2015) - Erik Murphy (21 points, 11 rebounds) and Jonathan Simmons (20 points, two rebounds) led the Austin Spurs past the Westchester Knicks Sunday night on the SWBC Court inside the Cedar Park Center.
Mfon Udofia made his first start for the Austin Spurs and contributed nine points, seven rebounds and five assists on the night. San Antonio Spurs assignee Kyle Anderson added 16 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
After trailing 52-43 at halftime, the Austin Spurs scored 36 points in the third, connecting on 6-of-10 three point attempts. Austin took advantage of a 13-point quarter by the Knicks to capture the lead and secure the win.
Five Knicks scored in double-figures including Darnell Jackson (26 points, six rebounds and five assists), Andre Barrett (19 points and four assists), Trey Gilder (18 points and nine rebounds), Ben Strong (16 points and 12 rebounds) and Doron Lamb (10 points and six assists).
