Austin Bold FC to Hold Open Tryouts Next Month

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin Bold FC announced today that registration for the first open tryouts for the 2019 season is open. Tryouts will take place on Friday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 10 at Circuit of The Americas. Players will have an opportunity to demonstrate their talent for ABFC Head Coach Marcelo Serrano and the scouting staff.
Online registration is available at AustinBoldFC.com/player-tryouts. Cost for registration is $155 and will include two (2) training shirts and refreshments during the session. The tryout will consist of each participant playing in up to five (5) 30-minute, 11v11 matches.
Following the conclusion of tryouts, select players may be asked to attend a combine, which will be held in Austin, Texas with the first team during the preseason in January or February 2019.
Austin Bold FC has announced a total of eight players (Faris Abdi, Edson Braafheid, DarÃo Conca, Kléber Gladiator, Promise Isaac, Sean McFarlane, Marcelo Saragosa, Valeri Saramutin) for the 2019 inaugural season. The club will announce additional player signings in the coming weeks.
Austin Bold FC is preparing for its inaugural USL season in 2019. Preseason will commence in February, with the regular season kicking off in March.
