Austin Bold FC News Release

AUSTIN, TX Austin Bold FC announced today the club has received goalkeeper Elliot Panicco and defender Nick Hinds on loan from MLS side Nashville SC, pending league and federation approval.

"Elliot and Nick are two incredibly talented players and we're happy to have them with The Bold this season. They have both proven themselves multiple times, with Elliot at the collegiate level and Nick within USL Championship, and we're excited to see what they can do in 2021," said Austin Bold FC Head Coach Marcelo Serrano. "I'll like to thank the Nashville SC organization for trusting us with two of their young rising players."

Pannicco, 24, impressed during his collegiate career with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The North Carolina native was named 2019 Conference USA Goalkeeper of the Year and finished with a school record of 35 shutouts. Nashville SC selected Panicco with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2020 Major League Soccer SuperDraft. The goalkeeper was signed to an MLS contract in 2020 and is yet to make his debut with Nashville SC.

Hinds, 23, spent time with the Seattle Sounders FC academy before playing collegiately with the University of Akron. During his two seasons with the Zips, Hinds helped lead the team to back-to-back conference championships. The defender signed a professional contract with Seattle Sounders FC in 2018. While in Seattle, Hinds made 68 total appearances on loan at USL Championship club Tacoma Defiance. Hinds joined Nashville in 2021 after Nashville SC acquired his Homegrown priority from Seattle Sounders FC.

Austin Bold FC returns to Bold Stadium on May 26 at 8:00 PM to take on Real Monarchs SLC. With single-game tickets starting at $15 and season ticket memberships starting at $190, every member of the Bold Familia has a way to cheer on their neighborhood soccer club.
