
Aurora topples Colorado, now 10-3 at the break

Lakewood, CO- For the fourth time this season, the Aurora Cavalry beat cross-town rival the Colorado Crossover 149-138 at Lakewood on Saturday night. With the win, the Cavalry become the first team with 10 wins in the IBL West.
What has become a staple of the Cavalry attack, eight players scored in double-figures. The Cavalry are the highest scoring team in the IBL featuring excellent ball movement and teamwork. Leslie Richardson and Michael Morse each led the Cavalry with 20 points each, Phillip Hillstock had 18, Jamar Bohanon with 18, and Jermaine Mason and DJ Stelly each had 16 points. With the loss of starting point guard, Lamar Karim, for the season, Head Coach Dejon Jernagin suited up and contributed with four points coming off the bench.
With the win, the Aurora Cavalry remain in first place in the tough IBL West Division with only 7 regular season games remaining this season. The Cavalry get a three-week break before heading off to California on a four-day, four-game road trip.
