Aurora Cruises Past Colorado, Gets Ready for Western Conference 1-2 Showdown

Aurora Cavalry News Release


Lakewood, CO- The Aurora Cavalry (8-2) defeated the Colorado Crossover (4-6) for the third time this season with a 154-141 victory on Saturday night at Colorado Christian University. With the win, Aurora took a 3-1 season series lead over the Crossover. The two teams will square off two more time this season.

Eight players reached double figures for the Cavalry with Leslie Richardson's 21 points leading the way. Aurora's big men, Phillip Hillstock and Jamar Brown, both reached double figures in points and rebounds. Hillstock finished with 19 points and 15 boards for his sixth double-double of the season. Brown was equally as impressive with 17 points and 11 boards.

Aurora attempts to regain possession of first place in the Western Conference as they face the first place Tri-City (California) Ballers on Friday, May 12th, 7pm at Gateway High School and again on Sunday, May 14th, 3pm also at Gateway High School.
