Aurora Cavalry Open Up Against Colorado Crossover on March 31st

AURORA, CO -- The Aurora Cavalry, Aurora's first professional basketball team, open up their inaugural 2006 season against cross-town rival, the Colorado Crossover, on Friday, March 31, at 7:15 p.m. at Gateway High School in Aurora.

"We're ready for this first test in what will be a really exciting season," said Dirk Speyer, Cavalry President and CEO. "There's no better way to kick off the season than against our cross-town rival, the Colorado Crossover. I think the fans will be in for a real treat."

Tickets are still available for the March 31st game and can be purchased at the door or online by visiting www.auroracavalry.com. Individual tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children 17 and under. Children 4 and under are always free. A Family Fun Pack option is also being offered. For $25 you receive 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 sodas.

There will also be a special halftime performance by the nationally acclaimed Izon Dance Ensemble. Led by Director Ladi Crenshaw, the Izon Dance Ensemble has performed nationwide in front of audiences such as Def Comedy Jam and Def Jam Records founder, Russell Simmons.
