Aurora Cavalry Brings First Place Standing to California Road Trip

Aurora, CO- The Aurora Cavalry (10-3) will bring their IBL West Division first place standing to California in what will be their biggest challenge of the season. Aurora will play four games in four days against three very tough California teams. The Cavalry will begin the trip on Thursday, June 15th against the Tri-City Ballers (9-4). The Cavalry and Ballers split a two game set in Aurora last month. The surging Ballers are tied for third place in the IBL West Division and are within striking range of the first place Cavalry. The Ballers feature last years scoring leader, Javon Harris, who is also ranked 9th in the league in scoring with 24ppg this season.

The Cavalry will then face the Chico Force (8-6) on Friday, June 16th, Oakland Slammers (8-8) on Saturday, June 17th, and then back against Tri-City on Sunday, June 18th. Oakland and Aurora also split a two game set in Aurora in April.

The Cavalry will return home on Thursday, June 22nd to face the Eugene Chargers (9-4) 7pm at Gateway High School. The final three Cavalry home games will highlight "Fan Appreciation Week" and will feature reduced tickets, special half-time entertainment, interactive games, and prizes for the entire family.
