Aurora Avenges Loss To Crossover

Aurora, CO- The Aurora Cavalry tallied their seventh win of the season with the 155- 147 victory over the visiting Crossover. Aurora earned a measure of redemption, after falling 162-161 to the Crossover on Friday in a thrilling overtime game.
DJ Stelly scored a season high 34 points to lead all scorers for the Cavalry. Phillip Hillstock added another double-double to his season resume with 22 points and 12 boards. John Gaines also poured in 23 points while the deadly backcourt duo of Lamar Karim and Jermaine Mason each had 15 points. Curi Yutzy was the top scorer for the Crossover with 29 points.
The rivalry continues next Saturday, May 6th 7pm, at Colorado Christian University. Aurora leads the season series, 2-1.
