
Auburn Doubledays to Hold Meet the Manager Night

AUBURN, NY - The Auburn Doubledays of the New York-Penn League, Single-A Short Season affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce an opportunity for fans to meet new Doubledays manager Jerad Head. Meet the Manager Night at Falcon Park will take place on Friday, May 27 and will include dinner, drinks, behind-the-scenes tours of the ballpark, and access to the field.
The night will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour in the Third Base Tent Area. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the program to start at 7 p.m. During the program, manager Jerad Head and general manager Mike Voutsinas will both speak, and a Q&A Session will follow.
The dinner will be catered by American Dining Creations and the menu will include pulled pork, Hofmann hot dogs, baked ziti, salt potatoes, chef's choice salad, watermelon, cookies, and brownies. Non-alcoholic beverages of water, lemonade, and iced tea are included. A cash bar will also be open throughout the event.
Head is beginning his first season as Doubledays manager after a professional playing career that included stops in Harrisburg and Syracuse with the Nationals organization and an appearance in the majors with the Cleveland Indians.
Tickets to Meet the Manager Night are $20 for General Admission, which includes dinner. Reserved tables of eight can be purchased for $160 dollars. Fans can call the box office at (315) 255-2489 or fill out the attached order form to purchase tickets or tables. Advance purchase is required as no tickets will be sold on the day of the event.
