Aubin Traded to Remparts

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, January 3, 2006 (QMJHL) - The Quebec Remparts acquired from the Rimouski Océanic winger Guillaume Mailloux (88-05-07) and a 4th round pick in 2006 for defenseman Drew Paris (88-05-12) and a 4th round selection in 2007 to then send Mailloux along with forward Jeff Desjardins (89-01-24), goaltender Danny Mireault (88-07-12), 1st and 4th round picks in 2006 to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies for winger Brent Aubin (86-06-18), defenseman Pierre Bergeron (87-02-12) as well as 5th and 9th round picks in 2007 (both acquired from Quebec) and a 3rd round choice in 2008.
In another trade, the Océanic sent forward Francis Charette (87-01-11) and their 3rd round selection in 2007 to Drummondville for Olivier Fortier (89-05-02), Philippe Garnier (89-01-04) and a 4th round pick in 2007 (acquired from Acadie-Bathurst).
