Attack Look to Extend Series in Kitchener

The Owen Sound Attack staved off elimination with an exciting 6-5 overtime win on Wednesday and will be looking to extend the series on Friday evening when they visit the Rangers at the Aud.

KYLE Hope scored the overtime winner, his second of the game while Daniel Catenacci, Daniel Zweep, Zach Nastasiuk and Elmvale, Ontario native Chris Bigras added singles to give the Attack their highest single game goal total this series.

Scott Stajcer earned the victory in goal for the Attack, stopping 36 of 41 shots including 3 early in overtime. The Attack fired 9 shots on Franky Palazzese in overtime before Kyle Hope tucked in the game winner. Palazzese stopped 23 of 21 shots in relief of John Gibson, replacing the Rangers net minder in the second frame.

Game time on Friday evening in Kitchener is 7:30pm. The action can be viewed on Rogers TV local Channel 53 or heard live with Fred Wallace on Grey Motors Bear Radio 560 CFOS.

Should the Attack force a game six, it will be played on Saturday evening at the Bayshore in Owen Sound. Tickets will be on sale Saturday morning at 8:00am at the Attack Box Office, over the phone by calling (519) 371-7452 or online following Friday evening's game at www.attackhockey.com . Season Ticket Holders will have until 1:00pm on Saturday to claim their seats before they are released to the general public.
