Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League has announced that they have dealt forward Mike Lomas to the Peterborough Petes in exchange for a 3rd round draft choice in 2010, a 7th round draft choice in 2010 and a conditional 4th round draft choice in 2011.
Lomas played in 76 games for the Attack over 2 seasons, scoring 26 goals to go along with 34 assists, however; was sent home earlier this season to await a trade. The 19 year old Burlington native was acquired in the summer of 2008 for a 3rd round draft choice in 2010 and conditional draft choice in 2011.
Attack General Manager, Dale DeGray said this trade presents a number of different possibilities going forward. "It gives us two; possibly three decent draft picks to work with. How we're going to use those, we'll have to wait and see."
The Attack is back in action on home ice this Saturday, October 31st when Bayshore Broadcasting hosts the Attack Haunted Hockey Halloween vs the Mississauga St. Michaels Majors. Game time is 7:30pm.
