Question from Miles, Chuck, Ronnie, David, Kenneth and others: (Edited and consolidated). "Do you think the reason the NBA is recruiting so many international players is because they're white?"
Answer: (To all of you): Before I answer this question, I want to say that this type of question is stupid, insulting and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Find something better to do with your time because professional sports doesn't need you as fans. While I don't speak for the NBA, obviously, I am confident that the NBA is bringing in international players because they can play basketball. They have oustanding fundamentals, great skills and there's not one player in the league from abroad that does not belong there because of these things. Race has nothing to do with it. Nothing.
The NBA recognizes that all of the great basketball talent in the world is not limited to the U.S. and as the world's premiere professional basketball league, it works hard to make sure that they have the very best players available. The NBA draws its players from colleges, international teams and other professional sports leagues. Questions like this really make me sick. This is the last I will comment on this subject.
