Ohio Valley Greyhounds News Release


WHEELING, WV - The Ohio Valley Greyhounds announce the signing of Offensive/Defensive Linemen Faraji Mason, the final piece of the "Big Ugly" puzzle from 2002 season.

Mason is a 6'1", 275 pound native of Towson, Md. Mason a 2002 member of the National Champion Greyhounds returns for his second stint with the Hounds. In the 2001 season Mason was a member of the Johnstown J-Dogs football team. Faraji attended the University of Virginia, Valley Forge Military Jr. College and a graduate of Indiana University of Pa. with a BS in Criminal Justice.

Mason will be replacing the defensive veteran Mike Marshall, who suffered a recurring back injury. Marshall injured his back the Thursday prior to the opener in Knoxville.
