ORANGEVILLE, ON - Currently on a 3 game losing streak, the Orangeville A's looked to bounce back in their home game against the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans. Stefan Nastic and Alex Johnson would make their debut for the A's in this Sunday afternoon affair. The Orangeville A's started off great shooting a high field goal percentage of 64% and shot three for five (60%) from three-point range. The A's continued to extend their lead and build momentum forcing the KW Titans to take a timeout at the 3:06 mark (27-10). The Titans stayed competitive with the majority of their points coming in the paint. The quarter ended with the A's in the lead at 32-19.

The second quarter started off with an exchange of baskets between the two teams as the A's simply held onto their 13-point lead. However, following a block to a lay-up for Slim Magee, the A's were energized and able to extend their lead. The A's shot an excellent 67% from the field and 64% from the three point line in the first half. The Titans shooting slumps continued at 35% FG and 30% from three point distance. The quarter ended with a bang as Alex Johnson sunk a half-court buzzer beater to put the A's up 64-41 over the KW Titans. (Alex Johnson Final: 12 points, 11 assists, 2 rebounds)

The third quarter was another productive quarter for the A's and was beautifully coordinated by Alex Johnson. The Titans' defence responded to each of his dribble penetrations which allowed other A's players open shots and lay-ups. The A's grabbed their largest lead of the game at 72-43 (9:58). From here on out it was all Titans as they clawed back to a 20 point deficit to end the third, 90-70. Nick Wiggins had a huge offensive quarter scoring 8 of his 12 points.

The Titans carried their momentum into the 4th and continued to chip away at the lead due to the A's early turnovers and foul trouble. The Titan's were able to convert these unforced errors in the transition and were often rewarded with a trip to the free throw line. By 3:22 the lead was cut to 101-92 for the A's. An and one at the 1:43 mark by Ricky Tarrant brought the Titans within 5 points, 103-98.
