Arnie Beyeler has been named the 15th manager in New Orleans Zephyrs history, as the Miami Marlins announced their minor league coaching assignments for the 2016 season. Joining Beyeler will be pitching coach Derek Botelho, hitting coach Paul Phillips, bullpen coach Ronnie Deck, athletic trainer Brian Bobier, strength and conditioning coach Quentin Eberhardt and video coordinator Jamie Tutko.

Beyeler spent the last three years as first base coach for the Boston Red Sox, helping the franchise win the 2013 World Series championship. He was also the team's outfield instructor during that time, and spent 12 seasons overall in the Red Sox organization. Boston outfielders led the American League in 2014 with 37 assists, and Beyeler served as first base coach for the 2014 AL All-Star team.

"I am looking forward to reuniting with Arnie," said Zephyrs General Manager Cookie Rojas, who worked alongside Beyeler in Pawtucket. "I know him to be a great manager, motivator and teacher, and someone who really cares about and embraces the community."

Beyeler has compiled an 802-756 (.515) record in 13 seasons as a minor league manager, reaching the playoffs six times. He spent nine seasons as a manager in the Red Sox system at Triple-A Pawtucket (2011-12), Double-A Portland (2007-10), Single-A Augusta (2002) and Single-A Lowell (2000-01). He guided Pawtucket to the 2012 Governors' Cup, marking the PawSox' first International League title in 28 years. He also led Portland to a pair of Eastern League playoff berths and was named the circuit's top managerial prospect by Baseball America in 2010.

Botehlo is entering his second season in the Marlins organization and 38th year overall in professional baseball. He spent the previous 12 seasons in the Atlanta Braves organization, most recently in the role of Minor League pitching rehabilitation instructor, also serving nine years as a pitching coach, including three at the Triple-A level. Botehlo pitched in 19 games over parts of two seasons with the Kansas City Royals and Chicago Cubs prior to his retirement and began his coaching career in 1990.

Phillips begins his first season in the Marlins system following a four-year stint as hitting and catching coach for Lipscomb University. A 15-year catcher in the Blue Jays, Indians, Rockies, White Sox and Royals organizations, Phillips batted .262 over parts of seven major league campaigns. He was drafted by Kansas City in the ninth round in 1998 out of the University of Alabama, and in 2010 was inducted into the Mississippi Junior College Hall of Fame.

Deck returns to the Zephyrs staff as bullpen coach, his second season with the Marlins. Deck played professionally for seven seasons, including two in the Tampa Bay Rays system from 2002-03. He began his coaching career in 2005, and spent six years as bullpen catcher for the Baltimore Orioles.

Bobier joins the Marlins for his debut season in 2016 with more than a decade of athletic training experience. He spent three years as the trainer for the Kansas State University baseball team following nine seasons in the Texas Rangers organization as a minor league trainer and rehab coordinator. Eberhardt returns to the Zephyrs as strength and conditioning coach for the third consecutive year, his seventh season in professional baseball. Tutko, who pitched collegiately at Saint Leo University in Tampa, is back for his second year as the Zephyrs' video coordinator.
